Built by Nizam Salabat Jung, this palace was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. This palace has also received the UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit Award for cultural heritage conservation in the year 2010.

One of the most well known tourist attractions is the Char Minar. Around this prestigious monument, one will come across a busy market place where you can pick up some of Hyderabad’s specialities.



  1. The Hussain Sagar Lake:



This artificially constructed lake houses a Buddha statue which is said to be the world's tallest monolith of Gautama Buddha. One can reach this statue by boarding a ferry from Lumbini Park. During the evening hours, this site is indeed a marvel to behold.



  1. Salar Jung museum:



This museum displays many objects that are worth exploring. It is also one of the national museums of India.


Hyderabad not only houses historical sites but also has a wide range of foods to explore. Its white shiny pearls are a delight to the eyes. One of its famous marketplaces is the Laad Bazaar located in the vicinity of the Char Minar.
